Slightly delayed update, a narrow loss in the John Dodsworth Trophy clash with Yorkshire, it was a see saw encounter with both teams leading at one stage but despite a late charge Yorkshire got over the line. Mally Robinson’s win took him to 50 wins for the County Seniors joining the likes of Stanley’s Billy Bell, Darlington’s Graham Peacock and the late Alan Stephenson who have also won 50 or more games for Seniors.
