County Vice-Presidents
The Durham CIBA Vice-President's Select Team is a squad of players who play a series of matches each Winter Season against most clubs within the County. Membership of the squad is by application at a cost of £9.00 which includes the special tie.
Members request to play in the games of their choice and the cost of each match is £3.50. Any profit from the matches is donated to the County Asssociation.

Vice President 2009-12 Dave Roberts
Dave Roberts took over the role of Vice-President from Eric Weightman at the 2009 AGM when he was elected unanimously by the member clubs of the County Association.
Dave is a member of Great Aycliffe Indoor Bowls Club and has been on the County Management Committee for several years. As well as playing for his home club he is also a member of the County's successful Seniors team which is currently Champion of both the Midlands Counties League and also Champion of the Northern Counties League as well as holders of two other trophies.
An important part of his duties as Vice-President will be to support and continue the Vice-Presidents matches which not only take teams out to compete against individual clubs, creating opportunities for competitive matches but also help to raise funds for the County Association. This is a big commitment as there are about 20 matches each season and the Vice-President is expected to attend and play in each one. He also acts as co-host in introducing each rink and awarding prizes.
Dave was delighted to be honored by his appointment and is very keen to maintain and build on the excellent work done by his predecessors.
